Since 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic has swept the globe and continues to this day, causing unprecedented damage to the world's tourism industry. Continuing to respond to the epidemic and accelerating economic recovery are common challenges faced by all countries.

The International Mountain Tourism Alliance, with the aim of "protecting mountain resources, inheriting mountain civilization, promoting mountain economy, and benefiting mountain people", has created a sharing column on the "The Development of Mountain Tourism in the Post-pandemic Era" in response to the lingering pandemic and the continued downturn in the world tourism industry. The first session, titled "Market Demand and Supply Innovation of Mountain Tourism in the Post-pandemic Era", invited tourism experts from authoritative institutions such as the UN Tourism and UNESCO to interpret, analyze, study, and share favorable policies, market opportunities, industry needs, project enhancement, and operational techniques for the development of mountain tourism through live video broadcasts.

In this issue, Haizhong Wang, Deputy Director of the Marketing Management Professional Committee of Chinese Academy of Management, Professor and Ph.D supervisor of Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU), shared "Cases Anelyzing: the Innovation of Mountain Tourism Destinations Marketing strategies".
