Recently, Qu Huan, President of the Korea-China Cultural Friendship Association (KCCFA), led a delegation to Shanghai and met with Chen Jing, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal People's Congress and President of the Shanghai People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (SPAFFC). The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on their work plans for 2026–2027 .

Based on the SPAFFC's "Shanghai+" development philosophy, the two organizations plan to carry out a series of exchange activities, including the Korea-China Friendship Culture Festival performances, youth exchange programs, and cultural events at the China International Import Expo (CIIE) .
