Statistics released by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism on September 27 show that during the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday (September 25–27), Beijing received a total of 8.783 million visitors and generated total tourism spending of RMB 11.54 billion. Among them, 83,000 inbound visitors were received, generating RMB 780 million in inbound tourism spending.
During the holiday, the top ten scenic areas (districts) by visitor volume in Beijing were: Olympic Park, Wangfujing, Xidan, Liangma River International Waterfront, Tian'anmen area, Qianmen Street, Ditan Park, Temple of Heaven Park, Shichahai Scenic Area, and Nanluoguxiang.
The Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, under the theme "Celebrating Both Festivals, Enjoying Beijing," partnered with districts and market entities to launch distinctive cultural tourism activities. At the 4th Beijing International Canal Arts Week, art troupes from multiple countries presented performances, with themed markets held concurrently. Locations such as the Liangma River International Waterfront, Lugou Bridge and Wanping City, and the Summer Palace integrated ancient architecture, waterfronts, and moonlight with national trends and performances, earning popularity among residents and tourists.
