The 19th Macao Mazu Cultural Tourism Festival will be held in Macao from October 12 to 15. Rooted in the original vision of "culture as the stage, economy and trade as the performance," and leveraging Macao's advantages as "One Centre, One Platform, One Base," the event will further deepen cultural tourism and economic cooperation and promote people-to-people exchanges across the Taiwan Strait and beyond.

Chen Mingjin, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, introduced that Mazu beliefs and customs were inscribed on UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2009, and their connotations have continued to enrich over time. This year, China announced it will promote the application of the meteorological intelligent early warning solution "MAZU" in 30 countries, achieving the integration of the traditional humanitarian spirit of Mazu with modern technology, and interpreting the original aspiration of aiding the world and safeguarding the people, and mutual assistance.
