On August 20, Scoot, the low-cost carrier under Singapore Airlines (SIA), announced that it will launch flights between Singapore and Guiyang, China, with three weekly services commencing October 26, 2026. The route will be operated by the Airbus A320neo, further enhancing Scoot's network presence in China and offering travelers a new travel option for the peak yearend holiday season.
Guiyang, located in the heart of Guizhou Province, is known for its rich ethnic minority cultures, scenic landscapes surrounded by mountains and rivers, and pleasant climate. Visitors can explore Qingyan Ancient Town, one of China's well-preserved historical towns, or head to the southwest of the city to witness the spectacular Huangguoshu Waterfall, one of Asia's largest waterfalls.
One-way Economy Class fares from Guiyang to Singapore start from RMB 500 (taxes included). Bookings are now available through the Scoot official website and WeChat Mini Program, with other booking channels to be opened at a later date.
