According to statistics released by the Shenzhen railway authorities on August 12, from July 1 to August 10, Shenzhen railway stations handled a total of 24.045 million passenger arrivals and departures, an increase of 24,000 passengers compared with the same period last year, with overall operations remaining stable and orderly.
Statistics show that Shenzhen North Station handled 16.273 million passenger arrivals and departures; Futian Station handled 1.604 million; Shenzhen Station handled 2.655 million; and Shenzhen East Station handled 1.787 million. The peak passenger flow occurred on August 8, when Shenzhen railway stations handled 830,700 passenger arrivals and departures, with Shenzhen North Station handling 566,800.
According to statistics, as of August 10, Shenzhen railway operated an average of 1,221 passenger trains per day, a year-on-year increase of 9.1%. Among them, a total of 134 additional nighttime high-speed trains were operated, mainly serving popular destinations such as Hunan, Hubei, Sichuan, Guizhou, Guangxi, and Chaoshan in Guangdong. In addition, in response to various large-scale concerts during the summer, Shenzhen railway precisely added 39 temporary passenger trains to Guangzhou, Foshan, Changsha, and other directions, facilitating cross-city travel for concertgoers.
