On May 6, Air France announced that from September 11, 2026, to October 14, 2026, it will add a second daily flight from Shanghai Pudong to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, in addition to its existing daily flights. By then, Air France's weekly flight frequency on the Shanghai–Paris route will increase to 10. Combined with KLM's current six weekly flights on the Shanghai–Amsterdam route, the Air France–KLM Group will offer passengers departing from Shanghai Pudong International Airport a total of 16 weekly flights to Europe and onward to destinations worldwide. The three newly added flights will all be daytime departures from Shanghai, serving as a significant complement to the existing daily night flights, providing passengers with more diverse and convenient travel options. The aircraft to be used on these flights will be the Airbus A350-900.
