The ongoing tensions in Iran are severely impacting the tourism industry in the Middle East. According to an assessment released on March 17 by the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC), international tourist spending in the Middle East is currently decreasing by at least $600 million per day, equivalent to approximately 4.3 billion Chinese yuan.
