Secretary-General of the Tourism Research Center at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), with research interests including tourism industry policy, tourism investment management, and international tourism comparison. He is the deputy editor of two authoritative annual reports in the field of tourism and leisure in China, namely the "Green Paper on Tourism" and the "Green Paper on Leisure". He has participated in the formulation of important national tourism policies such as those of the National Tourism Administration, the Ministry of Land and Resources, and the Ministry of Finance.
