The "2025 RCEP Member States World Heritage Sites Cooperation Alliance Member Conference" co-hosted by the Anhui Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the Foreign Affairs Office of the Anhui Provincial People's Government, and the Huangshan Municipal People's Government, opened in Huangshan City, Anhui Province, on 17 October 2025. The conference gathered representatives from RCEP member states, relevant international organisations, supporting units, and various sectors to explore new pathways for the sustainable development and regional cooperation of World Heritage sites. The IMTA attended as a specially invited unit. IMTA Vice Chairman Liu Zhaohui delivered a keynote speech titled "Co-building a New Ecosystem for RCEP Mountain Heritage Cooperation" at the event.
