Dominique de Villepin was born in 1953, graduated from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris and the École nationale d'administration (ENA), and holds bachelor's degrees in literature and law. He has served as Director of the Office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of France, Secretary-General of the Élysée (French Presidential Palace), and Prime Minister of the French Republic. Currently, he serves as Chairman of the International Mountain Tourism Alliance (IMTA).
