Liu Zhaohui, Vice Chairman of the IMTA, Attends the 19th UN Tourism/PATA Forum on Tourism Trends and Outlook

From September 18 to 20, the 19th UN Tourism/PATA Forum on Tourism Trends and Outlook was held in Guilin. This year’s conference, under the theme "Synergy in Motion: charting New Frontiers for a Resilient, Sustainable and Smart Tourism Ecosystem," focused on resilience, sustainability, and smart tourism development, bringing together global industry leaders to discuss the future of tourism. Liu Zhaohui, Vice Chairman of the International Mountain Tourism Alliance (IMTA), was invited to attend the conference. During the event, he gave an exclusive interview to the conference’s news center and held working meetings with Zhan Dongmei, Executive Director of UN Tourism, and Peter Semone, Chairman of the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA).

It is reported that during the conference, tourism officials, experts, scholars, and industry leaders from more than 20 countries and regions, including the United States, Australia, France, Greece, Spain, the Netherlands, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, the Dominican Republic, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand, will share global tourism trends and cutting-edge industry case studies through keynote speeches, presentations, and panel discussions. These exchanges are expected to inject new momentum into the development of tourism in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.
