The announcement pointed out that in 2023, the department's business-related and industry-managed social organizations adhered to the guidance of Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, conscientiously implemented the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee, the State Council, and the requirements of the department's party leadership, and consciously transformed their active service and integration into national strategies into practical actions to fulfill their responsibilities and missions. Positive results have been achieved in all aspects of work in 2023. To further promote the standardized construction of social organizations and select a group of outstanding social organizations, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism conducted performance reviews and evaluations on the social organizations it manages. Based on the results of on-site evaluations and combined with the annual inspection conclusions, merit evaluation, and daily supervision of the previous year, four levels of excellent, good, average, and poor were assessed among 131 social organizations, with 20 organizations receiving the "Excellent" title. The International Mountain Tourism Alliance successfully stood out from numerous participating units, winning the "Excellent" honorary title and ranking 10th.
