Indonesia Boasts Plenty of Volcanoes, Suitable for Mountain Tourism

On 18 August, the 2022 Asian Mountain Tourism Promotion Conference on Amity, Sincerity, Mutual Benefit, Inclusiveness, Cooperation, and Sharing —— Jointly Building a New Future for Asian Mountain Tourism was officially launched in Guiyang, Guizhou province. Good morning! My name is Dino R Kusnadi from Indonesia Embassy in Beijing.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
Indonesia is an archipelagic country with more than 16,000 islands located between the Pacific Ocean and the Indian Ocean. As an archipelagic country, Indonesia has also many mountains, of which 127 are volcanic mountains. Among those volcanic mountains, we still have 69 volcanic mountains that are still active. It is this that is presented to you in one of the photo exhibitions, Mount Bromo, in the Asia Mountain Tourism Conference in Guiyang 2022.
