Mountain Tourism Promotes the Development of Tourism and Helps Increase the Income of Mountain Residents

On 18 August, the 2022 Asian Mountain Tourism Promotion Conference on Amity, Sincerity, Mutual Benefit, Inclusiveness, Cooperation, and Sharing —— Jointly Building a New Future for Asian Mountain Tourism was officially launched in Guiyang, Guizhou province. Honorable guests, distinguished participants, friends and everyone present. Namaste everyone. Welcome to all of you. I’m Awadhesh Kumar Das from Nepal, congrats the Ministry of Tourism and Culture of China, Guizhou Province government and IMTA for organizing this 2022 Asian Mountain Tourism Promotion Conference. I would like to thank you all for giving me this opportunity to be a part of this great event. As we know, Nepal and China set a long, deep and cordial relationship, that is becoming a lot stronger and reaching new height in recent years.

Nepal is a country blessed with natural beauty with mountain tourism and mountainpeak. It is also known as a country of the Himalayas, among the world’s tallest peaks over 8 thousand meters 8 peaks in Nepal. Mountain tourism is the pioneer of all tourism in Nepal, and it has a heavy significance scope and potential for the moment.

Mountain tourism is not only crucial for the comprehensive development of the peak of tourism, but also just as important for the sustainable development of livelihood and the sustenance of people living in the mountain. I’m sure that this program will bring out some resolution that will help save the future of mountain tourism. I wish you all the best and great success.
