On 18 August, the 2022 Asian Mountain Tourism Promotion Conference on Amity, Sincerity, Mutual Benefit, Inclusiveness, Cooperation, and Sharing —— Jointly Building a New Future for Asian Mountain Tourism was officially launched in Guiyang, Guizhou province. Greeting from A.Ishdorj (A. Ишдорж), Governor of Övörkhangai Province.
The following is the full text of the presentation.
First of all, I hereby extend my sincere greetings to Guizhou Provincial People’s Government of People’s Republic of China.
I still remember when the Övörkhangai Province started a partnership with Guizhou province in tourism.Unfortunately, soon, the global spread of COVID-19 forced us to take border controls, and it seriously affected our cooperation. But now it seems that the outbreak may start to slow down and things may get better. So, in Mongolia, we have implemented plenty of policies to encourage our citizens to go out and travel.
And, I would like to inform Guizhou province that the Government of Mongolia has decided to lift restrictions on tourism and reopen the national borders. So,we hope continue our friendly partnership, promote the cultural and historical exchange between us, and jointly carry out more tourism projects. I would also like to specify that in developing the tourism industry, we have accumulated plenty of experience worth referring to. Last, I sincerely wish your conference a grand success.
