The upcoming 5.29 "International Mountain Tourism Day" theme event, “IMTA World Famous Mountain Series—Pursuit of the heart · Focus of the Jiabang,” and “Mountain sports tourism events” and "Jiabang in My Heart—Children's Art Exhibition" will be opened at the IMTA Headquarters in Guiyang. This event is one of the offline series of activities organized by the International Mountain Tourism Alliance for the theme activities of the 2022 International Mountain Tourism Day.

"5.29 International Mountain Tourism Day" is an international exchange and cooperation platform set by the International Mountain Tourism Alliance in 2018. It is a global commemorative day marked by the first human reached the summit of the world's highest peak - Mount Everest. And it is aims to promote the vision of "protecting mountain resources, preserving mountain civilization, promoting mountain economy, benefiting mountain communities and promoting the sustainable development of mountain tourism", and actively participate in global tourism governance and cultural exchanges and cooperation. It has been held for 3 years since 2019 consecutively, and it is committed to actively exploring the development trends, laws and practical support paths of international mountain tourism in different circumstances, and had a positive impact on the international tourism industry. The theme of the 2022 International Mountain Tourism Day is "Mountain Tourism Promotes Healthy Life and Cultural Exchange".

This photography exhibition and children's painting exhibition is one of the offline activities of IMTD, focusing on Jiabang Rice Terraced Fields in southeastern Guizhou. This famous mountain farming cultural landscape in Guizhou is a representative of the original ecological mystery, and it is also an ecological home that people yearning for. In April this year, Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Hua Chunying said on social platforms that it is as beautiful as the palette of nature. It is reported that Jiabang Rice Terraces has a history of thousands of years. The Miao nationality raise carp and ducks at the same time in the rice fields. This ancient system of rice, fish and duck co-production has been included in the world's important agricultural cultural heritage.

"Pursuit of the heart · Focus of the Jiabang—Children's Art Exhibition" began to warm up as early as the "Hi Ya Weekend Cultural Market" event held on May 1 this year. The organizer took "Jiabang Terraced Fields" as the proposition assignment, and selected 100 children from 580 children who learned to paint to jointly create a long-length children's painting "World Famous Mountains in the Eyes of Hundred Children". In this long painting, the "world famous mountains" in their eyes include the Alps, the Himalayas... and the Fanjing Mountain in Guizhou.
There are more highlights in the series of offline activities of the 2022 International Mountain Tourism Day, such as the "Mountain Life Consumption Experience and 8·9·00 Concept Meeting" held on the first floor of the south of the Headquarters of the IMTA on May 27. The event invited more than ten young entrepreneurial elites related to the tourism industry from all over the country. They will share their personal stories from the perspective of new youth in the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s, focusing on the three categories of food, beautiful scenery and good things in mountain cultural tourism life consumption. Entrepreneurial experience, analyzing market formats, discussing consumption trends, and seeking cooperation directions.
