On March 22 Beijing time, Hainan Airlines flight HU769 (Beijing-Oslo) departed smoothly from Beijing Capital International Airport. This marks the official launch of Hainan Airlines' direct international route from Beijing (Capital) to Oslo, currently China's sole passenger route connecting directly to Norway.

According to Hainan Airlines Holding Co., Ltd., the Beijing (Capital) to Oslo route will operate three round-trip flights weekly, scheduled for Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

From March 22 to March 29, the outbound flight departs Beijing Capital International Airport at 2:40 AM Beijing time, arriving at Oslo Gardermoen International Airport at 5:50 AM local time, with a flight duration of 10 hours and 10 minutes. The return flight departs Oslo Gardermoen International Airport at 12:30 local time and arrives at Beijing Capital International Airport at 4:30 Beijing time the following day, with a flight duration of 9 hours.

Starting March 30, Norway transitions to daylight saving time. The outbound flight departs Beijing Capital International Airport at 1:50 AM Beijing Time, arriving at Oslo Gardermoen International Airport at 5:50 AM local time, with a flight duration of 10 hours. The return flight departs Oslo Gardermoen International Airport at 1:30 PM local time and arrives at Beijing Capital International Airport at 4:30 AM Beijing time the following day, with a flight duration of 9 hours.
