On December 12, with the successful conclusion of the Shanghai event, the “Welcome to St. Petersburg!” roadshow successfully concluded its series of events in Beijing and Shanghai. Held on December 10 and 12 in Beijing and Shanghai respectively, this industry gathering leveraged policy support, prioritized exchange, and aimed for cooperation, establishing an efficient platform for China-Russia cultural and tourism industry collaboration. Against the backdrop of Russia's visa-free policy taking effect, it propelled cross-border tourism cooperation between the two countries into a new phase.

The roadshow garnered significant attention and enthusiastic participation from the tourism sectors of both countries, attracting over 260 industry institutions. The Beijing event drew 140 representatives from MICE agencies, tourism enterprises, and media outlets, while the Shanghai session brought together 128 industry peers and media guests, featuring high attendance and frequent interactions. A key highlight featured the collective presentation of 13 premium St. Petersburg tourism resources, spanning high-end hotels, specialized ground handling agencies, and airport service providers. This showcase comprehensively demonstrated the city's well-developed tourism reception system and diverse destination appeal.
