The Global Tourism Economy Forum 2025 Summit will be held in Harbin from December 15 to 17. Centered on the theme “New Quality Productivity: The New Engine of the World Tourism Economy,” this year's forum is expected to attract approximately 1,000 guests from over 30 countries and regions worldwide to jointly explore new directions for tourism economic development.

Since its inception in the Macao Special Administrative Region in 2012, the Global Tourism Economy Forum has successfully hosted ten editions, attracting over 14,000 participants from more than 90 countries and regions. Collaborating with 44 partner nations and 13 Chinese host provinces and cities, it has promoted cultural tourism brands and gradually evolved into a vital bridge connecting China with the world. This year's forum marks the first time the event has been held outside of Macau, relocating to the “Ice City” of Harbin. This move signifies a significant step forward in the forum's development and reflects the growing influence of Heilongjiang's cultural and tourism sector alongside its expanding international cooperation network.
