The "Wenheli Cup" Wujiang Gorge Mountain Climbing Race took place at the Wujiang "Hundred-Mile Gallery" Scenic Area in Yanhe Tujia Autonomous County on October 8, 2025. The 9.9-kilometer track, featuring 4,466 steep steps and an altitude gain of 932 meters, poses significant challenges to participants. Adhering to the "minimum intervention" principle, over 80% of the track is built on natural trails, allowing athletes to immerse themselves in the magnificent scenery of Wujiang Gorge and Bawang Valley while competing. Concurrent intangible cultural heritage (ICH) experience activities effectively boosted local cultural and tourism consumption.
