Recently, it was learned from the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region that the 2025-2026 Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Winter Tourism Season, spanning five months, is set to kick off successively.

Wang Shenrong, Deputy Director of the Department, introduced on November 23 that during the winter tourism season, Inner Mongolia will leverage its ice and snow resources across the region to launch 159 distinctive cultural and tourism activities, 48 sporting events, and 45 winter tourism routes. This initiative aims to build a winter tourism development pattern characterized by "unique features in each locale, exciting events every month, and accessibility throughout the region."

"Starting from December 20, a series of winter tourism events will commence one after another, including the 21st Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Ice and Snow Nadam Fair, the 2025 Inner Mongolia Ice and Snow Heroes Meet, and the 22nd China Manzhouli China-Russia-Mongolia International Ice and Snow Festival," Wang Shenrong stated.

It is understood that Ulanqab City, capitalizing on its advantages such as volcanic landscapes, ice and snow resources, and ethnic characteristics, has meticulously planned 97 distinctive winter tourism activities centered around the core theme of "Up the Volcano, Down the Slopes," aiming to meet the diverse experience demands of tourists and further invigorate the winter tourism market.

In Arxan City, Hinggan League, the winter enthusiasm in this border town continues to rise. Amidst the icy landscapes, visitors watch horse races gallop, dance with performers, ride snowmobiles, experience snow octopus rides, with laughter and joy igniting the winter passion.

"During this winter tourism season, various localities in Inner Mongolia will distribute cultural and tourism consumption vouchers covering scenarios such as scenic area visits, skiing experiences, hotel accommodations, and dining. Simultaneously, we will guide scenic spots, ski resorts, hotels, and catering enterprises to launch joint ticket packages like 'Skiing + Hot Springs' and 'Accommodation + Gourmet Meals,' using combined offers to lower travel costs for tourists," introduced Ji Xiaoqing, Director of the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
