On November 16, at the 2025 Anhui Inbound Tourism Conference held in Huangshan City, Anhui unveiled 11 premium inbound tourism itineraries and launched the “One Million Inbound Tourists Visit Anhui” initiative. The Anhui Culture and Tourism Global Promotion Center (Hong Kong Station) was officially inaugurated.

On the same day, Anhui unveiled 11 premium inbound tourism routes including “Shanghai-Jiangsu-Anhui Seven-Day Journey,” “Six-Day Anhui Northern Roots Exploration,” and “Six-Day Jiangnan: A Dream Journey Through Landscapes.” These itineraries encompass renowned scenic spots such as Huangshan, Jiuhua Mountain, and Tianzhu Mountain, while integrating cultural elements like ancient Huizhou villages, the Four Treasures of the Study, and Huangmei Opera.

In recent years, Anhui has allocated 20 million yuan annually in special funds to support inbound tourism development, aiming to systematically address bottlenecks that international visitors may encounter in customs clearance, payment, and consumption.

Data from the Anhui Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism shows that in the first nine months of this year, the province welcomed 62.9% more international visitors and generated 53.6% more international tourism revenue compared to the same period last year.

The conference attracted cultural and tourism representatives from over 50 countries and regions. Rafael, a travel blogger from Venezuela, remarked that Anhui's most remarkable feature lies in its seamless integration of tradition, creativity, and respect for nature. “The ‘stinky mandarin fish pizza’ I tasted in Huangshan is a perfect example,” he said.
