According to a recent announcement by Beijing Municipal Commission of Development and Reform, the city's unified tourism reservation platform will officially launch in the fourth quarter of this year. The platform will integrate resources across the entire tourism chain—including transportation, accommodation, dining, attractions, and experiential activities—aiming to provide visitors with more convenient and efficient one-stop services.
The platform will initially cover the vast majority of Beijing's major scenic spots, museums, and municipal-level cultural heritage sites, achieving the public service goal of “one platform, one reservation.” Visitors can complete real-name reservations for all participating attractions through a unified entry point and centrally manage itinerary arrangements on a single interface. This effectively prevents scheduling conflicts or information oversights, delivering a truly intelligent “personal itinerary assistant” service.
The development of this platform is a key component of Beijing's “Consumer Potential Activation Initiative.” According to Wang Yuling, Director of the Comprehensive Division at Beijing Municipal Commission of Development , Beijing will advance multiple cultural tourism projects in the fourth quarter centered on all-for-one tourism and all-season consumption. These include promoting high-quality development in the Olympic Center Zone, implementing the Olympic Tower renovation, creating the “Two Parks and One River” winter sports series, and accelerating the planning of the South Beijing Cultural Tourism Resort.
The Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism previously stated that the launch of the unified reservation platform directly addresses the inconvenience tourists face during peak travel periods when making reservations. It also represents a significant step in optimizing public services and enhancing visitor experiences. With the platform's introduction, the digitalization and intelligent level of Beijing's tourism services will reach new heights.
