China's first surf-themed trendy resort destination, “China Tourism Surf Resort”, has officially announced its grand opening on November 11 this year at Riyue Bay, Wanning, Hainan.

The project fills a gap in China's surf-themed vacation market and injects new vitality into Hainan's cultural tourism industry.

The resort is situated in Wanning's Riyue Bay, renowned for its premium wave conditions and hailed as “China's Surfing Paradise,” spanning approximately 155 acres. Its standout feature is the introduction of China's first super artificial wave pool. Employing cutting-edge American pneumatic wave-generation technology, this pool can simulate up to 23 distinct wave patterns. Wave heights are adjustable from 0.3 to 2.7 meters, with a maximum ride duration of 18 seconds. This accommodates everyone from beginners to professional athletes, enabling year-round, all-season surfing experiences.

Beyond its core surfing paradise, the resort has established a comprehensive trendy vacation ecosystem encompassing three major sectors: the Yuechao Surfing Theme Hotel, the Yuyue Designer Hotel, and the Zhulang Yuejie Commercial Street. The commercial street brings together diverse trendy consumption experiences such as a LIVEHOUSE, beach club, and specialty dining, aiming to provide visitors with an integrated vacation experience combining sports, accommodation, and social interaction.

As one of the model rest stops along Hainan's Coastal Tourist Highway, the launch of the surfing resort is expected to further activate Wanning's coastal tourism resources, attract domestic and international trend-seeking travelers, and contribute to the development of Hainan as an international tourism and consumption hub.
