Approaching the Summer Olympics in Paris, direct flights between China and France have significantly increased on three Chinese airlines.

Shanghai Airlines has increased its flights from Shanghai to Marseille to 3 per week, China Southern Airlines from Guangzhou to Paris to one flight per day, and Xiamen Airlines from Xiamen to Paris to 5 flights per week.

Despite the increase in flights, the current number of direct flights between China and France is still significantly below the peak levels of 2019. That year, there were more than 100 direct weekly flights between mainland China and France.
