The Spring Festival travel rush in 2024 will last for 40 days from January 26 to March 5. At the press conference held by the State Council Information Office, Li Yang, deputy head of the comprehensive transportation Spring Festival travel rush task force and vice minister of the Ministry of Transport, introduced that there were structural changes in this year's Spring Festival travel rush: the traditional business transportation, including railway, highway, civil aviation, and waterway passenger trips are expected to be about 1.8 billion people, and the remaining 80% will be self-driving trips.

In other words, of the total 9 billion trips, 7.2 billion trips are self-driving trips. This change also makes self-driving trips reach a record high.
