From September 11 to 14, the Serbian National Tourism Authority participated in the ETOA China-Eu Tourism Resources Procurement Fair and the ITB China Tourism Fair in Shanghai to promote Serbia's tourism resources. After three years, with the steady liberalization of China's outbound tourism market, Serbia's "visa-free + direct flights" are good, helping its restart and promotion in China.

According to reports, Serbia is located in the center of the Balkan Peninsula, is the intersection of eastern and Western civilizations. It is home to thousands of years of rich civilization, ancient Serbian villages, the beautiful Danube River, ancient castles and fortresses, millions of years of natural craftsmanship, Europe's most popular music festivals, the world's best nightlife and famous wines. With five national parks and several nature reserves, Serbia is a paradise for adventurous and outdoor lovers. Listed as a United Nations World Heritage Site, the medieval monastery bears witness to the growth and glory of modern Serbia.

On December 9, 2022, Air Serbia launched direct flights between Belgrade and Tianjin. This is also the first non-stop flight from Beijing to Belgrade by Hainan Airlines in July 2022, and another Chinese city has opened a direct flight to Serbia. Serbia has implemented a visa-free policy for Chinese citizens since January 2017, becoming the first country in Europe to do so, and the opening of direct flights will further facilitate travel in the future.

In these three years, Serbia has been continuously improved in cultural protection, tourism facilities construction and shopping and food experience. The Cathedral of Saint Savoy, built in 1935, finally completed its interior Mosaic decoration of about 15,000 square meters in 2022. Serbia has opened more than 20 new 4 - and 5-star hotels in three years, such as the Hotel Indig Belgrade on Koniz Mikhailova Street in the city center, Viceroy Kopaonik, the first five-star luxury hotel on Kopaonik Hill, comfortable spa hotels, and a variety of artistic boutique hotels with design. Meet the different needs of travelers.

In addition, Belgrade's newly opened Galerija Shopping Center covers an area of 300,000 square meters, with 202 shops, 33 restaurants and 11 coffee and dessert shops, a variety of world famous brands and restaurants, and a world-class playground to enrich the Serbian experience.

After the resumption of outbound tourism, as more Chinese tourists visit Serbia, the National Tourism Administration of Serbia will train and recommend qualified local guides and local agencies to ensure the quality of service and reception. In the future, more Chinese restaurants will open in Serbia, many hotels will also provide Chinese breakfast, and more Chinese signs will be set up in major scenic spots and cities to provide convenience for Chinese tourists.

In addition, in 2022, the Serbian National Tourism Office launched the "Feel! Serbia (Experience! Serbia) theme, and updated its website, propaganda videos and brochures in Chinese. The hope is that travelers will explore Serbia through taste, sound and touch.
