The French Tourism Development Agency has recently launched a new tourism training platform called "Expert France" (https://atoutfrance-e-travelacademy.com/) in seven languages including Simplified Chinese. The platform aims to help global tourism professionals accurately integrate and grasp the upgraded supply of French destination resources, efficiently combine the new market demand trends in the post-epidemic era, and upgrade and expand more high-quality travel products.
"French Expert" Chinese tourism training platform is newly launched
Ms. Catherine ODEN, General Manager of the French Tourism Development Agency in China, said, "In our recent frequent contacts with travel agency partners on the recovery of outbound tourism, the demand side of the Chinese market has shown a clear trend of diversification and greening compared with several years ago. 'Slow travel', 'niche fresh play', 'nature and outdoor' have become keywords of outbound tourism, and free travel, high-end customized small groups and featured in-depth experiences are popular. French destinations have also completed the upgrading and expansion of many products and services in recent years. Therefore, we launched a brand new tool, 'France Expert', hoping to provide effective assistance to the product upgrading and iteration work of Chinese tourism partners, and also hoping to help develop more in-depth and high-quality travel products in France."
The new "Expert France" tourism training platform is dedicated to presenting the newly upgraded and expanded destinations and routes in France in a vivid and interesting way. In 2019, France received 2.2 million Chinese tourists, and has long been a popular tourist destination among Chinese friends. However, France is far more interesting than Paris. Besides the romance and fashion, France's rich and diverse natural geography also brings infinite possibilities for outdoor and health tourism. For example, in the 16 modules launched by the "Expert France" platform, there are 7 natural and eco-tourism resources in the French overseas territories presented in detail and depth. Most of these areas are islands, which gather 97% of the marine area and 80% of the biodiversity distribution of France. The original and magnificent natural scenery and the rich and simple local culture provide extremely diversified and fresh destination experiences: such as surfing experience in Papeno Bay in Tahiti (Tahiti will be the venue for the surfing competition of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games); hiking through the glacier volcano in the Indian Ocean on the French island of Reunion, watching the picturesque sunrise of the Neiripe Peak, etc.
The "Expert France" platform strives to break away from the inherent destination impression, in depth echoes the new market demand in the post-epidemic era, and presents to global tourism partners in detail the colorful new routes and play methods launched in recent years in various regions of France in the supply iteration with 16 regional modules, taking into account the practical considerations. Tourism partners who successfully complete all modules will receive the "Expert France" certificate issued by the French Tourism Development Agency
