Hong Kong, Macao, Jiangmen, Zhanjiang, Maoming, Chaoshan, Foshan, Qingyuan, Huizhou and Meizhou are the top ten mainstream destinations for surrounding Tours. The number of tourism products in the province increased by nearly 50% compared with last week. Driven by the good news that there are five consecutive days of vacation this year, the in-depth tour of one place in the province for more than two days has become the mainstream choice of vacation. From the trend of the mainstream parent-child family vacation travel, the main "one-price all-inclusive" short-distance parent-child tour line is very popular. In addition, the province's 3-4 days of high-speed train tour lines continue to be popular, high-speed rail tickets are very short. In addition, combined tour products from Hong Kong and Macao returned to the May Day market after a three-year hiatus. Despite an average 20-30% increase in housing prices, they still sold well.

Tuniu data showed that during the May Day holiday, New Zealand, Egypt, Dubai and Russia were the most popular destinations for long-term outbound travel. In terms of short-term outbound tourism, Thailand still ranks first, followed by Hong Kong and Macao, Maldives, Laos and Cambodia. Since there is only one day off for Tomb-sweeping Day this year, the average daily number of tourists on Tomb-sweeping Day only recovered to 63% of that in 2019. Tourism trips are mainly short and medium distances, and a large number of tourism consumption potential is still depressed, which lays a certain foundation for the "May Day" tourism market. It is predicted that the number of tourist arrivals during this year's "May Day" holiday is expected to break the level of the same period in 2019, followed by the Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, National Day and other holidays, and the blowout trend is expected to remain.
