Thailand will celebrate Songkran, also known as Songkran, from April 13 to 17. During this period, people and tourists can take part in water-splashing celebrations across the country.
It is learned that this year's Songkran Festival, Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket, Chiang Mai and other well-known tourist attractions will hold a grand water-splashing carnival, which is the first grand water-splashing festival in Thailand in the three years since the epidemic. Especially in Bangkok, this year's Songkran Festival was celebrated at 198 locations in 55 districts.
It is reported that Bangkok's Songkran Festival is mainly celebrated in Khao SAN Road, Serong Road, Lan Khon Muang City Square and major shopping malls in Bangkok, as well as Patum Wangnaran Temple, Siam Center, ICONSIAM and Shantai Shopping Mall in Patum Wang District. The public and tourists can go to the above places to enjoy the carnival.
It is understood that, on April 11, the mayor of Bangkok, Thailand Chacha revealed that this year's water splashing activities around Bangkok will be held as usual. One of the most popular is Long Road, which is usually organized by the private sector. This year, the water splashing spree went ahead, but authorities have not ordered the road to be closed.
