Consumers around the world will spend more on travel in 2023 than in 2022, according to the 2023 Global Travel Trends Report released by American Express Travel, with the spending potential of Gen Z and millennial travelers particularly noteworthy.

American Express Travel has released its Global Travel Trends 2023 Report. More than half (52%) of respondents to the survey said they plan to travel more this year than last, and 50% plan to spend more money on travel this year than last.
