Disney Destinations Gatherings includes Disney Meetings & Events, Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons, and Disney Imagination Campus.
"Lost experiences and stolen moments have created a deficit of connections for people during these past two years as many have missed events that cannot be recreated," said Javier Moreno, Disney Destinations senior vice president of sales solutions. "With Disney Destination Gatherings, we hope to bring people together again with unforgettable experiences created by a brand they can trust."
Disney is experiencing an uptick in group travel right now, including a surge in weddings, many of which are multiday events.
Business travel is also increasing, and Disney said many business travelers are taking advantage and adding a leisure portion before or after their meeting.
Incentive travel is also on an upswing, according to Disney.
"Today, Disney is seeing strong demand from these segments," said Lynn Clark, vice president of Disneyland Resort sales and services. "Plus, many events are coming back grander than before."
School trips are also on an upswing, and Disney Imagination Campus is adding more student workshops to its roster, according to Ramiro Vazquez, vice president of Walt Disney World Gatherings.
"Colleagues, students and families are keen on spending time together again -- reuniting, connecting, and creating shared memories," Vazquez said. "We are poised to meet their needs and exceed their expectations with dedicated teams to help plan the next group experience -- and add a touch of magic as only Disney can."
Disney Meetings & Events handles social events and corporate meetings at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando; Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, Calif.; Aulani in Hawaii; and on Disney Cruise Line ships.
Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons helps plan engagements, weddings, honeymoons and vow renewals at those locations.
Disney Imagination Campus offers workshops at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts for students from elementary school through college, focused on topics ranging from leadership and innovation to science and technology.
