A: Thank you so much for your questions. I'm Rajendra Lama from Nepal, representative of Nepal tourism board. Definitely, Guizhou is a beautiful place, it is like Nepal. This is my second time in Guizhou. We Nepalese tourism entrepreneurs and the Nepal government are looking to collaborate with the Guizhou province to promote the mountain tourism and adventure tourism. So we found that Xingyi, Guizhou is an amazing place for us to promote the two countries' culture and mountain tourism and adventure tourism.
Q: Have you ever heard the Guizhou mountain tourism since it's the second time you visit here? How do you evaluate the mountain tourism resources in Guizhou?
A: When I came into here Guizhou, and Xingyi last year, actually I didn't know about Xingyi, but after flying from home to here. I saw what is Xingyi and Guizhou. Then Eddie and I found Xingyi seems like my hometown because you have little mountains, but we have big mountains. But the people and culture and nature is similar like in Himalaya. So we love Guizhou very much, it is like Nepal Himalaya. The people are amazing here, the culture and people are amazing here.
Q: Do you have any suggestions to Guizhou on developing the mountain tourism in the future?
A: The thing is, I'm 25 years in the adventure tourism. When I got here, then I saw something different, some unique product here. Then I couldn't see that much is skilled, manpower here. I think Guizhou should have to make investment for the skill training, for the adventure tourism, like rafting, camping and caving, and rock climbing. So in the future, when I cross this land, I feel that we can collaborate and we can extend ideas, experiences to promote not only the Guizhou, but Nepal and Guizhou, the two regions.
Q: Have you tried any special foods?
A: Guizhou is like my home when I cross this land. First, I saw the food because we landed here in the late nights, then we ran the local places, had a very delicious food. Food is amazing here, mountain food is definitely delicious compared to the others. Mountain food is amazing. The mountain food and mountain culture are completely different than other places. So we love the food here.
At the end, I would like to have a big thank for the IMTA organizers. They did amazing jobs and they did something wonderful for years. So we are very much appreciated for that. From the Nepal, governments and Nepal tourism boards, Nepalese peoples. Thank you for that.
