On the morning of June 14, 2023, the International Mountain Tourism Alliance(IMTA) and Nishikyushu University of Japan held an exchange discussion through video. Fu Yingchun, Vice Chairman and Executive secretary of the IMTA, Wu Mai, Deputy Secretary general, relevant personnel of the Comprehensive Business Department and the International Liaison Department, Sugawara Masasi, Vice Principal of Nishikyushu University, and Tanaka Toyoji, head of the International Exchange Center of the Junior College Department, participated in the discussion.

Dring the communication, Vice Chairman Fu Yingchun introduced the basic situation of the IMTA, saying that Nishikyushu University has unique research and disciplinary expertise in hot springs, forests, dietary health and other fields, and has many mature research and application results, which can integrate into the development of mountain tourism in various aspects, and the IMTA has strong interest in strengthening the cooperation with Nishikyushu University in mountain tourism enabling health tourism. During the International Mountain Tourism and Outdoor Sports Conference, the Annual Conference and the "Dialogue among Famous Mountain in the World" in September this year, we hope to invite university leaders to Guizhou to share with you the topic of "Health and well-being of World Famous Mountains and Mountain tourism", and conduct field visits on projects of interest, so as to jointly realize the vision of benefiting mountain people and serving tourism consumption.

Professor Tanaka Toyoji introduced that Saga-ken Prefecture is rich in natural resources, beautiful and has a long history. Porcelain, hot springs, food and other items are the characteristics of Saga-ken Prefecture. Nishikyushu University is the only private university in Saga-ken Prefecture with unique features in the development of disciplines such as health nutrition, clinical psychology, and social well-being. Sugawara Masasi, Vice Principal of Nishikyushu University, said that he has long had in-depth research in the field of mountain rehabilitation, and is willing to share special projects in the development of mountain tourism and healthy life in combination with the needs of the IMTA and Guizhou province. And a representative of the University introduced a series of new concepts that fit in with the development of mountain tourism, such as forest, horticulture and food, and was very interested in the development ideas and brand building of the alliance, and was willing to have more in-depth exchanges in the future and further explore the possibility of cooperation.

In September this year, the Annual Conference and the "Dialogue among Famous Mountain in the World" event will be held in Xingyi City, Guizhou Province at the same time as the "2023 International Mountain Tourism and Outdoor Sports Conference". The IMTA will invite Nishikyushu University and the Tourism Department of Saga-ken Prefecture to attend and visit Guizhou and the IMTA Headquarters to carry out more in-depth exchanges and cooperation.
