In order to promote the implementation of the deployment of the new work of the second session of the General Assembly of IMTA, Chairman de Villepin and Vice Chairman and Secretary-General He Yafei. On February 2, 2023, Fu Yingchun, Vice Chairman and Executive Secretary-General, presided over a meeting on the key work of the Secretariat, which investigated and studied the key issues of the overall work plan for 2023. Further clarify specific responsibilities and job requirements:
1. All the staff of the Secretariat shall do the work of the new IMTA well with the new state and style, according to the working requirements of Secretary-General He Yafei, implement all the work well with the "meticulous, exquisite and extreme" work goal, and work tasks shall be detailed and decomposed into place, strengthen overall planning, ensure the standardized process, smooth links, coordination and consistency, and complete the annual tasks with high quality.
2. Recognize the new pattern. In the future, the tourism industry will face the situation of full liberalization, which will be of great benefit to mountain tourism. In order to promote the hope of the tourism market, we should seize the opportunity and give full play to the role of IMTA open platform and self-created brand. First, we should draw up the preliminary plan of the activity, propose the theme, content and way of holding the activity, and focus on the interaction of the international tourism market in the positioning and planning of the activity. "529 International Mountain Tourism Day" is an annual institutional activity. The time of May 29 is fixed. It is more urgent to hold activities overseas and the tasks are heavy, so good strategies and promotion methods are necessary. Second, we need to win the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. In addition to Bali, Indonesia, we also need to develop plans for other venues in Southeast Asia. Third, immediately start communication with the organizer in Bali, Indonesia, and reach the intention as soon as possible.
3. Research projects should be well carried out. We will accelerate the compilation of the 2023 edition of the World Mountain Tourism Development Trend Report and the International Mountain Tourism City Destination Index System. To promote the implementation and follow-up work of the "World Famous Tourism Mountain Classification and Evaluation System", "International Mountain Thermal Spring Health Tourism Project Construction and Evaluation" and "International Mountain Eco-Tourism Destination Index System", strive to elect demonstration observation sites, pay attention to the selection of alliance sites to be included in the implementation of observation sites, and promote the implementation of results.
4. New ideas and measures should be adopted in the outreach work. It is necessary to improve and innovate the regular contact and communication mechanism of IMTA members, master the information of each member, timely understand the dynamics of members, and put forward the operational plan of membership fee payment that conforms to the reality of IMTA. Every effort should be made to establish daily liaison work with foreign embassies and consulates, tourism agencies in China and cooperation units, and the Ministry of Public Relations and the Liaison Department in Beijing should jointly formulate operational work plans. Start the work of setting up overseas regional representative offices of IMTA as soon as possible, and put forward specific plans as soon as possible.
5. Strengthen the internal construction of IMTA. Rules and regulations should be improved to ensure that there are rules to follow for the work of the Secretariat. Improve the salary system, optimize and adjust the salary of the staff, establish and improve the recruitment rules, so as to provide guarantee for the Alliance to reserve high-quality human resources. Do a good job in the headquarters window image construction, put forward the alliance exhibition showroom permanent international video conference room design and construction scheme.
The meeting stressed that each department should formulate detailed work plans item by item according to the division of responsibilities and implement them item by item. For the planned activities in the near future, it should pay close attention to the docking and confirmation with the partners or intended partners, and timely report important matters to the alliance leaders for decision-making.
