On May 20th, the "Overseas Chinese Connecting Five Continents, Pooling Strength for Guizhou" 2025 Overseas Chinese (Teochew Businessmen) Guizhou Tour event was launched in Guiyang. More than 150 participants attended the event, including representatives from overseas Chinese organizations, leaders of the overseas Chinese community, and figures from the overseas Chinese community from over 30 countries; representatives of the Guangdong Chamber of Commerce, Teochew Chamber of Commerce, and Overseas Chinese Chamber of Commerce from various provinces and regions in China, as well as from Hong Kong and Macau; and local entrepreneurs and business associations in Guizhou. The event focused on organizing investment promotion activities, networking events, and strengthening connections among overseas Chinese and Teochew businessmen, with the aim of leveraging their unique advantages to activate the potential of overseas Chinese resources. It sought to align the international perspectives of overseas Chinese with the development needs of Guizhou, thereby supporting the province's high-quality development. At the event, Li Jiacun, President of the Thai Young Chinese Chamber of Commere and Deputy Secretary-General of the Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, issued an initiative calling on overseas Chinese organizations and Teochew businessmen to support Guizhou's high-quality development.
