On March 15th, the first edition of the National Geographic China "Three Gorges Hiking" challenge was held at the Three Gorges Longji in Wushan County, Chongqing. Approximately 500 hiking enthusiasts gathered there to embark on a spring hiking journey filled with challenges and surprises. Along the route of this challenge, there were four check-in points: the Three Gorges Longji parking lot, Zhen Shui Tower, Deng Long Platform, and Deng Long Service Station. Along the way, participants not only had to test their physical strength and endurance but also navigate complex terrains. Moving through the mountains and forests, they enjoyed the magnificent views of the stunning canyons and the vast Yangtze River, experiencing the beauty of nature. During the challenge, the National Geographic China red-frame logo was unveiled at the Deng Long Platform in Three Gorges Longji. It served as a natural viewpoint, allowing participants to take in the grandeur of the canyons, the vastness of the Yangtze River, and the elegance of the surrounding mountains and rivers.
