On May 7th, Minor Hotels announced that its Chinese joint venture, Fengyue Minor, had signed a contract with Chongqing Yuanchuluquan Cultural Tourism Group to jointly develop the Sanya Qingshuiwan Anantara Resort Hotel. This project is located in the Qingshuiwan Scenic Area of Lingshui County, Hainan Province, and is renowned for its 12 kilometers of fine white sand beaches and clear seawater, earning it the nickname "the Maldives of China". As the sixth Anantara-branded hotel in China, the Sanya Qingshuiwan Anantara Resort Hotel will feature 90 guest rooms and is expected to open in October 2027.
