Recently, witnessed by nearly 60 key travel agencies from Chenzhou, the Mangshan Tourism Area signed strategic cooperation agreements with Dongjiang Lake and Guangdong's First Peak Scenic Area respectively, establishing a cross-provincial cultural tourism alliance centered on interconnected landscape experiences. "We will target underdeveloped markets like Sichuan-Chongqing and South Korea to accelerate regional tourism synergy and global marketing outreach," stated representatives at the promotion event. Mangshan also unveiled preferential policies and new tourism products—including family study tours and wellness vacations—encouraging agencies to promote Mangshan itineraries.
Renowned for its "bizarre pines, unique rock formations, sea of clouds, and hot springs," Yizhang County’s Mangshan Tourism Area was designated one of the inaugural "World Famous Tourism Mountains" by the International Mountain Tourism Alliance in September 2023. It will also host the main venue of the 2025 Chenzhou Tourism Development Conference. Zixing City’s Dongjiang Lake, a national 5A-level scenic area, is famed for its ethereal "mist-covered Xiaodong River" and Thousand-Island-Lake-like landscapes. The partnership will enable shared ticketing, resource integration, and direct shuttle services, while exploring distinctive low-altitude economy tourism routes (such as helicopter tours) to enhance the regional brand: "Landscape Scrolls·Meet in Chenzhou."
Additionally, Mangshan forged collaboration with Guangdong’s First Peak Tourism Scenic Area (located in Yangshan County, Qingyuan, with its highest peak at 1,902 meters). The two will implement convenient "all-access passes," co-create cross-regional road trip packages traversing both peaks, and develop premium interprovincial tourism circuits.
