11th Sea Festival came to a successful conclusion

On December 15th , 2024, the three-day 11th Sea Festival came to a successful conclusion in Kampot Province, Cambodia. The event was authorized by the Royal Government of Cambodia and jointly organized by the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Culture and Arts, with the support and organization of the Kampot Provincial Government and enterprises. The theme of the event was “Celebrating Heritage and Coastal Sustainability”, which has attracted several tourists from Cambodia and abroad and significantly boosted the local economy and culture. As one of the key exhibitors at this year's festival, COASTAL CITY DEVELOPMENT GROUP has won wide recognition for its outstanding performance at the event.

On the morning of December 12th , H.E. Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism of Cambodia, with H.E. Mau Thu Ninh, the Governor of Kampot Province, have co-hosted the third round of the Seminar on Tourism Investment Promotion and Quality Improvement, at the conference bokor hall of Kampot Province. On the meeting, H.E. Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism of Cambodia, has presented an honorary certificate to COASTAL CITY DEVELOPMENT GROUP for its investment project in the DARA SAKOR area of Koh Kong Province and its contribution to the development of Cambodia's coastal area. This honor is not only a recognition of COASTAL CITY DEVELOPMENT GROUP 's work in the development of DARA SAKOR, but also an affirmation of its positive role in promoting the development of the local economy and tourism.

In the evening of December 13th , the Prime Minister of Cambodia Samdech Moha borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, together with his wife, Dr. H.E. Pich Chanmony, attended the grand opening ceremony and expressed their high appreciation for the success of the festival. The Sea Festival has not only showcased Cambodia's rich natural beauty and cultural heritage, but also emphasized the commitment to coastal resource conservation, responsible tourism and sustainable development.

As one of the key exhibitors of this year's Sea Festival, Mr. Li Mengchen, Chairman of COASTAL CITY DEVELOPMENT GROUP, Ms. Paully Lora, Director of Culture and Tourism Department, Mr. CHEA TECH HOK, Director of Public Relations Department, the Brand Planning Center and Culture and Tourism colleagues attended the event, and fully demonstrated the region through a variety of ways such as project promotion of DARA SAKOR, promotion of the tourism route, and Sparky cultural and creative periphery, etc., representing the natural and humanistic beauty of the DARA SAKOR in Koh Kong Province. The unique design of our booth has attracted a large number of visitors and became a highlight of the exhibition.

In the afternoon of December 14th , the Ministry of Tourism of Cambodia and PATA (Pacific Asia Travel Association) co-organized the CAMBODIA TRAVEL MATCH 2024 Forum, which is an important international tourism exchange platform that brought together 75 companies and 110 representatives from 10 countries. Colleagues from the Culture and Tourism Department of COASTAL CITY DEVELOPMENT GROUP actively participated in the conference and had in-depth communication and exchanges with these buyers. By presenting high-quality project materials and exciting speeches, we successfully attracted the interest of many buyers and invited them to visit DARA SAKOR for site visits and tours in the future. This has not only brought potential cooperation opportunities for the DARA SAKOR project, but also further enhanced the visibility and influence of COASTAL CITY DEVELOPMENT GROUP in the international tourism industry.

With the successful conclusion of the Sea Festival, COASTAL CITY DEVELOPMENT GROUP said it will continue to deepen its efforts in the tourism market, strengthen its ties with domestic and international partners, and promote the process of regional tourism integration in DARA SAKOR. Meanwhile, it also plans to increase its investment in infrastructure and talent cultivation in the future, contributing to the long-term development of Cambodia's coastal areas.
