Recently, the 14th Annual Meeting of the Chinese Society of Landscape Architecture held a special forum on "Landscape Architecture and People's Life" in Guangming District, Shenzhen. The forum focused on the aesthetics of landscape architecture, open sharing, and bonsai aesthetics, and explored ways to integrate landscape architecture into people's daily lives, using garden green spaces, cultural heritage, flower bonsai, and other resources to enrich people's material and spiritual lives.

The forum focused on landscape architecture and people's lives. The sharing of experts showed that landscape architecture was actively integrated into people's daily lives in many aspects. From the aesthetics of time and life in ancient gardens, the open sharing of urban park green spaces, to the promotion of community livelihood micro-realities, to the creation of heritage-themed trails, all are committed to improving the quality of life for residents. The related research on bonsai aesthetics has enriched the spiritual and cultural life of the people, and the public welfare activities of small bonsai and the display of bonsai in ancient literati gatherings have embodied their cultural significance. These sharing and discussions provide multiple ideas and practical experience for landscape architecture to better serve people's lives, help improve urban ecological functions, promote social equity, enhance community cohesion, and make landscape architecture an indispensable and beautiful part of people's lives.
