Recently, the "Tourism Makes Life Better" 2024 City Tourism Marketing and Bashu Cultural Tourism Corridor Promotion Event kicked off in Chongqing. As the host of this event, Chongqing, in collaboration with over 50 cities across the country, issued a declaration on cultural tourism: eliminating regional barriers, establishing a cross-city tourism market supervision and linkage mechanism, establishing a database for sharing urban tourism promotion resources, establishing a tourism resource recommendation mechanism, and discussing the bright future of cultural tourism development. This event is the first alliance activity in Chongqing and even the whole country to build a high-quality development joint pattern of urban cultural tourism industry.
The 2024 City Tourism Marketing and Bashu Cultural Tourism Corridor Promotion Event was initiated by the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development and participated by more than 50 cultural tourism units across the country. The event adheres to industry linkage, industry integration, cooperation and sharing, with the theme of "tourism makes life better", focusing on the innovative development of the cultural tourism industry. Through on-site marketing and promotion, field visits, and experiences, it further promotes in-depth exchanges between Chongqing's cultural tourism industry and cities across the country, vigorously promotes and disseminates Chongqing's cultural and tourism resources, and enhances the influence of Chongqing's cultural tourism brand.
