Recently, the Chimelong Tourism Development Forum was held at the Chimelong International Ocean Resort in Hengqin, Zhuhai, Guangdong Province. Themed "Creating New Prosperity for Cultural Tourism", the forum aims to deepen international cooperation in the cultural tourism industry, promote the steady and long-term development of China's cultural tourism industry, and achieve high-quality development.
At the scene, experts and scholars from the Global Theme Entertainment Association (TEA), China Tourism Association, China Tourism Research Institute, Disney, Universal Studios, Changlong and other global theme park operators discussed the future development and cooperation opportunities of the theme park industry. The guests had in-depth dialogues on the development trend, innovation cases and operation experience of theme parks, and shared experiences and made suggestions on how to maintain the vitality and attractiveness of theme parks.
Dai Bin, the president of China Tourism Academy, believes that China's theme parks are in a new stage of prosperity, development and innovation breakthrough. The new quality productivity provides a solid new momentum for the development of theme parks. In the future, Chinese cultural tourism brands will maintain a more open mindset, absorb advanced experience from the world's theme parks and other cultural and entertainment industries, and work together to realize the Chinese Dream. Melissa Oviedo, the president of the Global Theme Entertainment Association (TEA), said that China is one of the fast-growing theme entertainment markets with great potential. TEA is willing to carry out innovation and cooperation with excellent theme parks in China.
At the 30th TEA Thea Awards Ceremony, several winners of the TEA Thea Awards "Lifetime Achievement Award" shared their professional experience and left behind the "handprint of co-creators". The winner, Su Zhigang, Chairman of the Chimelong Group, said that Chimelong has expanded its layout of diversified theme parks from Guangzhou to Zhuhai Hengqin and Qingyuan, and has built a large-scale cultural tourism group with six theme parks, eight resort hotels and three international horse theaters. "The TEA Thea Award for Lifetime Achievement is not only a personal honor for me, but also a recognition of the theme park industry in China."
