Xinjiang's inbound and outbound tourism is booming

While the outbound tourism is booming, the inbound tourism in Xinjiang has also achieved significant growth. According to the statistics from relevant departments, from January to March, Xinjiang received 869,100 inbound tourists, achieving an international tourism revenue of 594 million US dollars, with a year-on-year increase of 421.49% and 353.77% respectively. China Express Travel(s) PTE Ltd. has been paying attention to Xinjiang for many years and regards Xinjiang as an important destination. "This year, we will organize more tourists to Xinjiang, and it is expected to increase by 30% to 40% compared with last year." Li Liangyi, the chairman of the company, said that the company plans to send three groups to Xinjiang in May and continue to send groups in September and October. The scale of sending tourists to Xinjiang this year will far exceed the planned 1,000 people at the beginning of the year.
