Recently, social media has been buzzing with rumors that the "Sichuan Siguniang Mountain Scenic Area will be lifted on April 25th" and "It is expected that Siguniang Mountain can be climbed during the 'May Day' holiday". The Outdoor Activity Management Center of the Siguniang Mountain Scenic Area Administration Bureau responded that there is no clear schedule for lifting the lockdown. Previously, official announcements showed that from February 25th, all outdoor activities including mountaineering, camping, ice climbing, rock climbing, hiking and crossing will be suspended in the entire protected area of Siguniang Mountain.
