The launching ceremony of the 9th Chongqing Cultural Tourism Consumer Season for the People in Spring and Summer and the opening ceremony of the 2024 Fengdu Temple Fair were held in Fengdu County a few days ago.

This event is jointly hosted by Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development, Fengdu County Party Committee and Government. The current Huimin Consumption Season is linked to the Fengdu Temple Fair, combining Fengdu's famous mountains, caves, canyons, lakes, night tours and other characteristic resources. It adopts the mode of "one main venue launching ceremony + one Fengdu Temple Fair + theme parade + five cultural tourism consumption scenarios Huimin activities", aiming to actively cultivate new hotspots of cultural and tourism consumption, gather popularity, increase vitality, promote consumption, and expand the cultural tourism economic chain.

The key activities of the consumption season launching ceremony were the citizen music festival and the Fengdu citizen market. On the scene, both passionate rock and beautiful folk songs made people intoxicated, and both a wide variety of traditional handicrafts of intangible cultural heritage and authentic local snacks attracted tourists to spend money.

It is reported that this year's consumer season will gradually launch many exciting activities for the benefit of the people. Starting from April, the Citizen Music Festival will be held in districts and counties such as Fengjie and Liangjiang New Area; In June, Xingman Mountain City · 2024 China Chongqing Animation and Game Carnival will be held in Yubei District, and the first Dragon Boat Cultural Tourism Consumption Festival of the Shuangcheng Economic Circle will open in the High tech Zone; In July 2024, the on-site meeting for empowering rural revitalization through Chongqing's cultural and tourism will be held in Shizhu County; In September, the first Dazu Rock Carvings Cultural and Creative Art Week will be held in Dazu District, Chongqing, China.
