Relying on its rich resources of animals and plants, Guangdong Chimelong Group has made unremitting scientific research efforts to develop key technologies for wildlife protection, gradually building a smart protection system for wild animals and plants.

In order to support the artificial population of South China tigers and restore their ability to survive in the wild, Chimelong Group has also established a wild training base for South China tigers in Qingyuan, equipped with a land and air intelligent protection management system to comprehensively monitor the tiger wilderness area. In 2022, two South China tigers in Qingyuan Chimelong have achieved independent predation in the wild. In addition, Chimelong Group has used digital technology to empower the creation of a land and air intelligent protection management system for the breeding and wildness training base of South China tigers, providing technical support for the sustainable development of the South China tiger population.

One of the important aspects of biodiversity conservation is to provide a good living and breeding environment for wild animal and plant populations. Guangdong Chimelong Group has explored and established an innovative model of "world-class animal and plant germplasm resources base + scientific research + science education + field rescue + wild reintroduction" as a five-in-one system. Relying on seven large-scale species resource conservation bases in Guangzhou, Zhuhai and Qingyuan, as well as a team of experts from all over the world, the group has developed four key technical systems, including wildlife eugenics and breeding, precision nutrition, precision disease prevention and control, and suitable habitat maintenance.

With the support of various key technologies for wildlife protection, Chimelong Group has successfully protected more than 100,000 wild animals of more than 1,200 species, including 286 species of CITES Appendix I and II animals and 105 species of national key protected animals.
