According to the latest data released by the tourism department of Nepal, Nepal received more than 1 million international tourists in 2023. Among them, Chinese tourists exceeded 60,000, ranking third among all countries. Madan Kumar Acharya, the head of the Nepal Tourism Board, said that Nepal is an international travel destination favored by more and more Chinese tourists, and he expects more Chinese tourists to visit Nepal.
