Chairman of the Tourism Enterprise Committee of the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry visited the China Chamber of Tourism
On September 5, Alexander Yuryevich Musicin, Chairman of the Tourism Enterprise Committee of St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia, and his delegation visited the China Chamber of Tourism, and had a discussion with Xie Jialin, deputy secretary general of the Chamber of Commerce, and Zhang LAN, deputy director of the Department of Industry and Development, and exchanged views on the cooperation opportunities faced by China and Russia after the resumption of visa-free group travel.
Chairman Alexander gave an overview of the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry and explained the investment opportunities in tourism in Russia. He said that the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry is the largest and oldest chamber of commerce and industry in Russia, with more than 50 member enterprises, and 10 universities have cooperative relations, hoping to strengthen exchanges and cooperation between member enterprises of both sides. President Alexander welcomed Chinese entrepreneurs to invest and carry out relevant cooperation in St. Petersburg.
Deputy Secretary-General Xie Jialin welcomed Chairman Alexander's visit and introduced the basic situation and business scope of the Chamber. He said that since 2014, the Chamber of Commerce has focused on the cooperation and development of tourism between China and Russia in the Far East, vigorously promoted the tourism construction in Heihe and Amur regions, and organized entrepreneur delegations to attend the St. Petersburg Economic Forum and the Eastern Economic Forum in 2017 and 2018, making positive contributions to tourism exchanges between the two countries.
The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on issues such as visa facilitation, tourism training and project promotion, and reached a number of consensus. During the visit, Chairman Alexander and his delegation also visited the secretariat of the Chamber of Commerce to learn about the leading group of the Chamber of Commerce.
